Serve Day - Baranco Elementary

Join us as we bring new life and color to the front grounds of Baranco Elementary! Volunteers will work together across several project zones to create welcoming, vibrant spaces for students, staff, and families. Whether you’re planting flowers, spreading mulch, or leaving words of encouragement, every contribution helps make a lasting impact.

Project Zones

Zone 1 – Front Office Corner
Help create a brand-new flower bed near the corner of the front office. (5–7 volunteers)

Zone 2 – Front Fence Area
Design and build a beautiful rock garden accented with planters. (4–5 volunteers)

Zone 3 – Near Building & Air Conditioners
Plant full ground coverage and install a small rock garden with a decorative planter. (4–5 volunteers)

Zone 4 – Steps of the Old Entrance
Clean existing beds and spread fresh mulch to brighten the main building entrance. (6 volunteers)

Zone 5 – Main Entrance by Baranco Sign
Tidy up, mulch, and refresh the space near the big Baranco sign. (3–4 volunteers)

Zone 6 – Playground Area by Baranco Sign
Clean, plant, and mulch around the playground sign to create a cheerful play environment. (6 volunteers)

Zone 7 – Faculty Parking Lot
Weed and mulch around the parking area to keep it looking clean and welcoming. (4–6 volunteers)

Zone 8 – Notes for Students and Staff
Write uplifting notes to remind our Baranco family how valued and appreciated they are!
